PTF inducts new athletes in national training camp
KARACHI: Pakistan Taekwondo Federation has replaced a number of participants of its national training camp for 7th Asia Open (international taekwondo championship for seniors and juniors).
According to details, Yousef Karami (coach) has replaced Sajjad Hussain (coach) while the new athletes inducted in the camp included Shahzaib, Abu Bakar Siddiqui, Haroon Khan, M Arbaz Khan, Mazhar Abbas, Ihtisham-u-Haq, Hamza Umer Saeed, Maliha Ali, and Manisha Ali.
The athletes who have been replaced include Haris Didar, Sarmad Waheed, Ibrar ul Haq, M Mumtaz, Ghulam Shabbir, Saifullah, M Anas, Sana Sabir, and Waniya Najam. It is to be noted that Pakistan Sports Board has already approved accommodation, playing facilities, and establishment of national taekwondo training camp with the strength of 37 athletes, two male foreign coaches, two male coaches and one female coach for the preparations of the 7th Asian Open scheduled in Islamabad.
