Nawaz moves court, wants Toshakhana vehicles case dismissed
Sharif's lawyer tells court that recent amendment to NB laws places Toshakhana case outside NAB’s jurisdiction

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) President Nawaz Sharif has filed a request in the accountability court to dismiss the Toshakhana vehicles reference against him.
Appearing on behalf of Nawaz Sharif, lawyer Rana Irfan told the court that recent amendment to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) laws now place the Toshakhana case outside NAB’s jurisdiction. The court issued a notice to NAB, and adjourned further hearing till November 7.
In another case, Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain handed over arrested former MPA Akhtar Hussain Lango and Shafi Mohammad of Balochistan National Party-Mengal to the police on two-day physical remand.
