Islamabad: World Post Day will be celebrated today (October 9) across the world including Pakistan. Pakistan Post has decided to organise various programmes to highlight the importance of this day and the services of the institution, says a press release.
In addition to the flag hoisting ceremony at Rawalpindi GPO at 10 a.m, there will be an exhibition of stamps. Postmaster General Northern Punjab Muhammad Zaheer will be the chief guest. All officers including Deputy Postmaster General Arshad Khan, Chief Postmaster Asma Noreen will participate in the event.
