Five players to compete at Asian Snooker in Riyadh
LAHORE: Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) on Saturday unveiled a five-member national squad which will feature in the Asian Team Men and Under-21 Snooker and 6 Reds Championships 2024 scheduled to be hosted by Saudi Arabia in Riyadh’s SABSF Academy from June 26 to July 5.
The 2017 IBSF Team Snooker Championship runner-up Asjad Iqbal and Awais Ullah Munir will take part in the Asian Team and 6 Reds Snooker Championships while the 2022 IBSF World Championship winner Ahsan Ramzan, Mohammad Hasnain Akhtar and Mohammad Hamza Ilyas will feature in the Asian Under-21 Championship. Naveed Kapadia will act as team manager and referee during the event. The PBSA said in a statement that a training camp was initiated at the NBP Sports Complex, Karachi, from June 20 and will last until June 25.
