The 2nd Pakistani-Polish International Scientific Conference, titled ‘New World Order: in Statu Nascendi’, will be held on June 11 and 12, in Olsztyn, Poland.
The event is being jointly organised by the Institute of Political Science, University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, Poland, and the Department of International Relations of the Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (Fuuast).
The conference aims to engage scholars in a critical discussion about the ongoing transformation of the international order.
The collaboration between two institutions highlights the strong relations of both nations. As the world grapples with the complexities of the ‘New World Order’, this conference is set to provide a platform for scholars and researchers to share their insights and research, fostering understanding and cooperation between Poland and Pakistan.
This event builds upon the success of the 1st Pakistani-Polish International Scientific Conference, held in December 2022 at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi. Notably, the inaugural conference welcomed the President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi, along with rectors and vice rectors from the University of Warmia and Mazury and other Polish universities.
Following the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the two institutes in 2021, this year's conference strengthens the academic exchange and collaboration between Pakistan and Poland. Fuuast Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Zabta Khan Shinwari, accompanied by faculty members from the Department of International Relations, will represent the varsity at the event.
