Singer Tasawar Khanum visits SBBU Nawabshah
Young generation is the one who brightens the name of the heroes of the past: Tasawar Khanum
SUKKUR: Famous singer Tasawar Khanum visited Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Nawabshah on Sunday.
The renowned singer was invited by the SBBU’s music society. She met with the varsity’s Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr Amanat Ali Jalbani and other faculty members.
Tasawar Khanum said that her relationship with music is connected to her soul, adding that she cannot detach herself from it till her death. Khanum said that the magic of Pakistani music resonates all over the world. “Today, the trend of listening classical music and ghazals is increasing in our young generation.”
She said that in every age, young generation is the one who brightens the name of the heroes of the past. “Our youth are also getting regular education in this field today.”
She further said that now the work in Pakistan film industry is not what it used to be, but in the present era, the springs in Pakistan’s film industry have started to appear again, which is good news for the film industry as well as playback singers.
Talking about her work, she said that she is doing very limited work, but she has not stopped working.
