Islamabad: Japanese is mandatory to become applicant for Technical Interne Training Programme (TITP) or SSW programme, without Japanese it’s impossible to become an intern in Japan, says a press release.
Japan and Pakistan signed a MoC in the year 2019 for export of manpower to Japan on TITP and SSW programme, this is first institutional arrangement between the Government of Pakistan and the Japan which will open up Japanese market for Pakistani workers.
One of Japan’s evolving responses to the population crisis was amendment in the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act in 2019 to officially accept low-skilled foreign talent as “Specified Skilled Workers” (SSW) equipped with the relevant skillset to start contributing immediately, to meet the demand for manpower in industries facing critical shortages, such as agriculture, building cleaning management and food and beverage manufacturing.
The Director of Okayama University of Science Japan in Pakistan Ch Hamid Latif lawyer said that the exchange centre of Japanese university Ichiban Nihongo in Pakistan is contributing a lot towards promotion of Japanese language in the country, he added that Ichiban offers the best of Japanese language and skill training program to Pakistani youth who are interested to join as TITP or SSW.
