New schedule announced for annual exams of 9th and 10th classes

The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) announced on Wednesday a new schedule for the postponed 2024 annual exam papers of 9th and 10th classes.

According to the new schedule, the Science Group annual exams would be held in the morning shift while the General Group exams will be held in the afternoon shift. Officials said BSEK issued a new schedule for the postponed examination paper as per a notification issued by the provincial education department’s Universities and Boards Department.

BSEK Chairman Syed Sharaf Ali Shah said all the candidates would give the postponed paper at their respective examination centres as per the new schedule. According to the schedule, the first paper be taken on May 28 (morning), by students of 9th and 10th class for Urdu Normal Course (Compulsory), Sindhi Salees Normal Course (Compulsory), Geography of Pakistan Paper I, English Literature, (Afternoon) Tenth Class Braille Nazari (Paper II); Arabic (Paper II), Persian (Paper II), Accounts of Households and Related Issues. On May 29, students still exam for Tenth Grade (Morning) Sindhi Salees (Compulsory), Urdu Syllabus (Compulsory), Urdu Syllabus (Compulsory) 10th Class Geometric and Technical Drawing, (Paper I), Child Development and Family Life (Paper I), Art and Model Drawing Paper I (Theoretical).

On May 30 (Morning), students will sit the exam for 9th and 10th Islamiyat (Compulsory), Religious Studies, Noon General Group 10th Jamaat Urdu Literature Khatiari (Paper 2), Sindhi Literature Optional (Paper 2), English Literature Optional (Paper 2), English Literature Optional (Paper 2), and on May 31 Art and Model Drawing 9th and 10th Class (Noon) Urdu Adab Khatiari (Paper I), the Sindhi Literature Optional (Paper I), English Literature Optional (Paper I), an Art and Model Drawing Practical (Paper I). On 1st June candidates will take the exam for 10th Class General Group Commercial Geography, (Paper 2), Geography Optional (Paper II), Costumes and Paper Buffy (Paper II), and on 3 June they will attempt papers for (Noon) General Group 9th and 5th Class Mathematics (Paper I). On June-5, they will sit the exam for the General Group 9th and 10th Class Economics (Paper I), Management for Reform House (Paper I), Islamic Studies, Tarikh-e-Islam Paper I, on 6Th June for 10th Jamaat (General Group) Knowledge of Citizenship (Paper II), Knowledge and Body and Hygiene (Paper II), History of Hindu Pakistan (Paper II), Food and Nutrition Theoretical (Paper II) for female students, Computer Studies (Paper II), Computer Studies (Optional), and on June 7, 9th and 10th Class Braille Nazari (Paper I), Arabic (Paper I), Persian (Paper I), Accounts of Households and Related Issues, Paper I examinations will be taken.
