KHAR: The jirga of local elders, transporters and officials of district administration on Wednesday expressed the resolve that all issues pertaining to Bajaur and Mohmand transporters and road would be solved amicably through negotiation.
Besides elders and transporters, the jirga was attended by Deputy Commissioner Anwarul Haq, District Police Officer Sajjad Ahmad, tehsil chairmen of Khar and Nawagai Said Badshah and Dr Khalilur Rahman and others.
The elders and transporters informed the jirga that the district administration must take practical steps for the clearance of Bajaur-Mohmand road and bringing back the vehicles.They pledged that they would support holding talks with the relevant quarters to resolve the issues in a peaceful manner.
