The results of the 2024 general elections in Pakistan have left many questioning the legitimacy of the process and the true winner. The election process was marred by irregularities and allegations of vote rigging. This is a clear indication that our democratic institutions are flawed and in need of urgent reform.
I urge the ECP to address the grievances of the people and ensure that the true will of the electorate is represented. The international community must also play its part in supporting Pakistan’s democratic process and promoting free and fair elections.
