LAHORE: As Pakistan has started preparation for their tour of England and Ireland, speedster Naseem Shah has thrown his support behind fellow pacer Mohammad Amir in anticipation of the T20 World Cup scheduled for June in the United States and West Indies.

During a media interaction at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on Saturday, Naseem expressed confidence in Amir’s valuable experience, particularly from his stints in various leagues, which Naseem believes will be advantageous for the team in the upcoming matches.

“Amir’s experience gained from playing in different leagues is proving to be beneficial for the team,” remarked Naseem, highlighting the significance of Amir’s presence in the squad.

Looking ahead to the T20 World Cup, Naseem emphasized his own readiness and determination to contribute to the team’s success. “I’m fit and fully prepared for the World Cup. My goal is to play my part in helping the team clinch the tournament,” he affirmed.
