Jade is a big fan of Lily Allen’s new album West End Girl and considers it a major cultural moment of 2025.
In a new interview with The Independent, Jade was asked to list some major cultural moments from her point of view.
"Lily Allen’s album West End Girl created such a wave. I just love it," she shared. "I think everyone’s been reminded of just how incredibly talented a lyricist and writer Lily is. We didn’t realise we missed her until she came back. Do you know what I mean?"
Jade went on to reveal that Lily has supported her career as an artist, saying, "She’s been so supportive of me as an artist as well. There’s been some amazing moments for me where I’ve kind of made friends with people I hugely respect in the industry, and Lily Allen is one of them."
Lily Allen's new album has made headlines for lyrics pointing to the breakdown of the marriage and alleged cheating by David. The song Madeline particularly details the Stranger Things star's alleged cheating with a younger woman.
Meanwhile, Jade went on to name a few movies, books, and shows that stood out to her this year.
"I loved The Substance," she said of Demi Moore and Margaret Qualley’s acclaimed horror film.
"I love horror movies in general, and I think this year’s been really great for horror. Books wise I have to say Jordan’s book Avoidance, Drugs, Heartbreak and Dogs," she said of her partner musician and actor Jordan Stephens’s book.
"Obviously I’m biased in that I’m his partner and really supportive, but I really do feel like it was a very necessary book, especially for men and young men. I’ve seen Jordan grow and the reaction to that book and what that’s meant to so many people. So I’m incredibly proud of that and it actually genuinely has been one of my favorite books to come out this year."
Jade Thirlwall also named Wayward as a show she and partner Jordan enjoyed.
