'Rush Hour' actor Chris Tucker surprises fans in photos with Jeffrey Epstein
Chris Tucker has not commented on the photos recently released by the US Department of Justice
The US Justice Department released thousands of heavily redacted documents related to the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein on Friday that extensively featured Democratic former President Bill Clinton.
In images released on Friday, Clinton can be seen in a swimming pool with Maxwell and another person whose face is blacked out. In another image he can be seen in a hot tub with what appears to be another person whose face is blacked out. Clinton has previously expressed regret for socializing with Epstein and said he was not aware of any criminal activity.
Celebrities who appeared in photos made available as part of Friday's release include the late news anchor Walter Cronkite, singers Mick Jagger, Michael Jackson and Diana Ross, British entrepreneur Richard Branson and the former Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson. Many of the photos were undated and provided without context, and none of those figures have been accused of any wrongdoing in connection with Epstein.
However, "Rush Hour" actor Chris Tucker's images have become the most discussed celebrities online since the release of the fresh documents.
A number of images include Chris Tucker standing with Ghislaine Maxwell or appearing in group shots but the Department of Justice release provides no evidence of criminal behavior by him.
While the pictures with Epstein do not prove any wrongdoing, they appeared to be enough for hundreds of social media users to criticize him.
A large number of people took to social media, mocking the actor.
One user said, "We are never getting a Rush Hour 4 now are we… Chris Tucker revealed to be in the Epstein files in pictures with Bill Clinton and Ghislaine Maxwell."
Many others shared memes targeting Tucker after the actor's images surfaced online.
Interestingly, the newly released thousands of heavily documents made a scant reference to President Donald Trump but extensively featured Democratic former President Bill Clinton.
