KU to host launch of book of Iran’s first lady

The University of Karachi will host the launch of a book written by the First Lady of Iran, Dr. Jamileh Alamolhoda, on the occasion of the visit of the president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Syed Ibrahim Raisi, to Pakistan on Tuesday, April 23.
There will also be a seminar on the “Role of Muslim Women in the Emerging Muslim Civilisation”. Dr. Jamileh Alamolhoda will be the chief guest, and Vice Chancellor Dr Khalid Mehmood Iraqi and eminent scholars will also deliver speeches.
The book has been exclusively translated into Urdu and will be published by the Faculty of Islamic Studies, University of Karachi. The content of the book is helpful for the course of “Islam and Aurat” being taught in the Department of Islamic Learning.
