In response to an earlier Israeli attack on its diplomatic facilities in Syria, Iranian forces retaliated by firing hundreds of missiles and drones on Israel on April 13. According to some reports, Israel spent around half a billion dollars defending itself from this strike and still needed to rely on the support of major Nato powers including the US and the UK.
The victory in this round appears to belong to Iran and the myth of Israel’s invulnerability has been further dented.
