Highway robbery

During my recent trip to Hyderabad with my family for an eye treatment, I encountered a concerning issue while waiting for our bus back home at the station: the exploitation of commuters by grocery shops at various locations within the bus stands. These shops are unabashedly overcharged for essential items such as water bottles, food and other items which are indispensable for travellers. This exploitation highlights a broader problem of inadequate facilities and services for long-distance commuters. Some transportation services also impose exorbitant fares, further burdening travellers. It is imperative that basic facilities and relief options are provided to long-distance commuters.
