Deaf World Cup winning team member given warm welcome
BAHAWALPUR: Rousing reception was given to Bilal Yousef, the member of the Pakistan Deaf World Cup Cricket winning team player, on his arrival at Bahawalpur after coming from Sharjah.
Bilal Yousef was received with warm welcome on arrival at the bus terminal, garlanded and showered with flowers.Earlier, Bilal Yousef was welcomed by his wife with their young child at Lahore Airport on his arrival from Sharjah to Lahore and on Sunday he was flown from Lahore to Bahawalpur.
Bilal Yousuf was part of the national team that won the Deaf World Cup in Sharjah - he played a vital role in the win over Australia in the semi-final match of the Deaf World Cup in Sharjah and also won the player of the semi-final award.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has congratulated the national team for winning the Deaf World Cup. PCB chairman was asked to give cash prizes and government jobs to Bilal Yousef and other players.
