Hyderabad: Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah has asked the Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Health Minister Dr Azra Pechuho to order a transparent investigation into the murder of a youth from Thar in Hyderabad.

Sardar has contacted the Chief Minister House and health minister on the issue of the murder of a servant in Hyderabad and demanded a transparent investigation in the case. He expressed concern over the unnecessary delay in the post-mortem report of Abdul Rehman Samijo, a youth from Thar who was murdered in Hyderabad. He said the post-mortem report should be issued as soon as possible so that the deceased could be buried by his heirs in his native village.

The education minister informed the CM House that Samijo was allegedly killed at the home of a well-known doctor in Hyderabad. He said action should also be taken against the management of the hospital concerned if they were involved in delaying the post-mortem report.

The murder case was registered at the B section police station of Latifabad on Saturday. Three persons, including the owner of the house, Dr Naeem, and his wife Dr Mehwish, have been nominated in the case. Habibullah, the victim’s uncle, stated in the FIR that a man, Dr Saddam, made a phone call to him at around 5am on Saturday morning and told him that his nephew had committed suicide by hanging himself in a bathroom.

Dr Saddam further told Habibullah that Samijo’s post-mortem had been completed and asked him to claim his body from a mortuary. According to sources, the Hyderabad police took Dr Naeem into custody after the case had been registered. Samijo was working at Dr Naeem's house in Hyderabad for the past five years.
