Japan’s National Day and King’s 64th birthday celebrations were held at a local hotel on Wednesday. Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori also attended the celebration ceremony.
Tessori and Consul General of Japan Hattori Masaru also cut the 64th birthday cake of Japanese Emperor Noruhito. Speaking on the occasion, Consul General Hattori Masaru congratulated Pakistan on the successful conduct of the recent elections.
He said that Pakistan and Japan have a longstanding relationship. “We will further improve our bilateral relations,” he added. He said Japan was making investment in different sectors of Pakistan and wanted that Pakistani businessmen also make investment in the country as there were vast opportunities for them.
Talking to journalists, Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori avoided political talk but in a brief conversation he said the Governor’s House is open to all Japanese delegations and efforts are being made to further strengthen trade between Japan and Pakistan.
