FBR’s Customs officers undergo major shake-up
Transfers/postings of officers of PCS (BS-19-21) are made with immediate effect and until further orders
ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has made transfers/postings of 46 top officers of customs working in Grades 19 to 21 with an immediate effect. The FBR has jolted the customs group officers at this point in time.
The transfers/postings of the officers of the Pakistan Customs Service (BS-19-21) are made with immediate effect and until further orders including M. Rabab Sikandar (Pakistan Customs Service/BS-21) has been transferred from Chief Collector of Customs Appraisement (Punjab), Custom House, Lahore to Chief Collector of Customs Enforcement (Punjab), Custom House, Lahore, Muhammad Sadiq (Pakistan Customs Service/BS-21) from Chief Collector of Customs (Exports) Custom House, Karachi to Chief Collector of Customs Appraisement (Punjab), Custom House, Lahore, Mirza Mubashir Baig (Pakistan Customs Service/BS-21) from Chief Collector of Customs Enforcement (Punjab), Custom House, Lahore to Director General, Directorate General of Customs Valuation, Karachi, Ms Saima Shehzad (Pakistan Customs Service/BS-21 from Director General, Customs Academy of Pakistan (CAP), Karachi (Stationed at Lahore) to Chief Collector of Customs (Exports) Custom House, Karachi, Muhammad Saleem (Pakistan Customs Service/BS-21) from Director General, Directorate General of Customs Valuation, Karachi to Chief Collector of Customs, Appraisement (South), Custom House, Karachi and Ashhad Jawwad (Pakistan Customs Service/BS-21) from Director, Directorate General of Law & Prosecution, Islamabad, to Collector, Collectorate of Customs, (Appeals), Islamabad.
The FBR also made transfer/postings of 16 officers working in Grade 20. There are 23 officers in Grade 19 who have been transferred and posted on new position.
The officers who are drawing performance allowance prior to issuance of this notification shall continue to draw this allowance on the new place of posting except for those who are posted in FBR (HQ), Islamabad. The officers are requested to send charge relinquishment/assumption to FBR immediately after relinquishment/assumption of charge for record and further necessary actions.
