“We want such a favourable and peaceful election environment, which every political party could enjoy. Creating a cordial environment for blue-eyed people and making it dreadful for others is unacceptable to us at any cost,” he told reporters after addressing a JUIF ticket distribution ceremony here.

Ghafoor Haidri said in such a situation where a political party was being favoured and others were warned of life threats, questions might be raised on the credibility of general elections.“We didn’t accept 2018 general elections results and if such history is repeated in February 8 polls. I want to make it clear that we (JUIF) will resist such a move,” he warned.

The JUIF leader said that though his party’s provincial chapters in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Balochistan were empowered by Maulana Fazl for seat adjustments it could only be possible when others follow a give-and-take formula.

Earlier, the JUIF leader gave away party tickets to party candidates in seven national and 18 provincial assembly seats of Mansehra, Haripur, Abbottabad, Torghar, Battagram, Upper Kohistan, Lower Kohistan and Kolai-Palas districts of Hazara division.
