JI leader laid to rest
Rawalpindi: Engineer Hussain Ahmad Jalil, a veteran member of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) who breathed his last on Wednesday evening was laid to rest here on Thursday.
His Namaz-e-Janazah was attended by a large number of JI leaders, workers and people from different walks of life. Prominent amongst them were JI Director for Foreign Affairs Asif Luqman Qazi, JI Rawalpindi ameer Syed Arif Shirazi, President National Labour Federation Shamsur Rehman Swati, Imran Shafique advocate, Hafiz Taj Siddiqui and others.
Ex JI ameer Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Maulana Abdur Rasheed Turabi led Namaz-e-Janazah. Late Hussain Ahmad Jalil served Rawalpindi Nazim of Islami Jamiat-e-Taluba (IJT), a student wing of JI in 1971-72 and JI ameer for UAE.
Waseem Zaidi, an old colleague of deceased on the occasion highlighted contributions and devotion of Late Hussain Jalil for his mission.
