Search operation conducted against illegal immigrants
Islamabad:During the drive against illegal immigrants, the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted a search and combing operation in the jurisdiction of Bani Gala and Sabzi Mandi police stations, five suspects were shifted to police station for further verification, a police spokesman said Sunday.
Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of the Islamabad police, Frontier Constabulary (FC), Quick Response Force (QRF) and local police teams took part in the operation under the supervision of SP CTD.
During the search and combing operation 48 houses and 111 individuals were thoroughly checked, while 5 suspects were shifted to the police station for further verification purposes. IGP Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan said that the search and combing operations against the illegal foreigners would continue to deport the undocumented foreigners to their native countries following the government policy.
