LAHORE: A delegation of overseas Pakistanis led by Chief Coordinator Muslim League (N) International Affairs Amjad Ali and President Muslim League (N) Holland Chaudhry Parvez Sandhila called on Governor Balighur Rehman at Governor’s House here on Monday.

In the meeting, issues of mutual interest, including the current political situation in the country and the problems faced by overseas Pakistanis, were discussed. Speaking on this occasion, Governor Balighur Rehman said that the return of political leader like Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is ray of hope and augurs well for the future of the country. He said that Nawaz Sharif in his speech put aside the injustices and excesses committed against him and other leaders of the Muslim League in the past and have given a roadmap for the development of the country. He hoped that Pakistan would be put back on the path to development very soon. He said that overseas Pakistanis are playing an important role in the country's economy by sending significant foreign exchange. Chief Coordinator Muslim League (N) International Affairs Amjad Ali said that the return of a sincere, experienced, and humble leader like Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is a good omen for the country. Overseas Pakistanis informed the governor about the problems of Pakistanis living abroad and gave various suggestions.
