Financial crisis seminar on March 3
KARACHI: Financial Markets Association (FMA), in collaboration with Landmark Capital, will hold a seminar titled ‘Can we beat the financial crises’ at a local hotel on March 3, a statement said on Monday.
Dean and Director Institute of Business Administration Dr Ishrat Husain will be the chief guest at the opening session.
The seminar aims at providing deep insights on how the current economic crisis is unfolding.
The speakers will discuss the issues related to slowdown in the Chinese economy, oil and copper chaos and their impacts on Pakistan’s economy.
The speakers will also discuss the factors behind the financial crises and the tools and resources required to overcome this period of excess volatility and uncertainty.
The seminar will be addressed by well reputed local and international professionals, including Edmondo Sarteur, CEO, GCC, BSI Bank Switzerland, Zafar Masud, Member board of director SBP and Sakib Shirani, renowned economist.
