It’s that time of the year, when we start seeing the king of fruits gracing thelas in every nook and cranny. Mangoes are here and what better way to celebrate than with a special keri recipe. Since mangoes are still coming up to its full prime these days, here’s how you can make most of the keris that might come your way. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

Raw mangoes 3

Sugar ½ Cup or to taste

Red chilli powder 1 tsp or to taste

Salt ½ tsp or to taste

Water ¼ Cup or as required

DIRECTIONS

  • In frying pan, add raw mangoes, cover and dry roast on medium heat until pulp is soft, turn sides occasionally, peel off skin and take out the raw mango pulp.
  • In raw mango pulp, add sugar, red chilli powder, salt and water, mix well until sugar is dissolved.
  • Keri panna is ready.
  • Use it in a refreshing drink or thicken it up for a chutney. Enjoy!
