After establishing itself as a modern high street brand and launching its one of a kind store in Lahore, ‘Lulusar’ recently opened its doors for the Karachiites. To celebrate the launch of the new store the brand hosted an all-day exhibit, showcasing their entire new range including the ‘Baagh’ collection. The name of the brand is an inspiration taken from the iconic Lulusar Lake, which is surrounded by mountain peaks of Kaghan Valley in the North of Pakistan.
The exhibit was attended by fashion bloggers, magazine editors and journalists including celebrities and models like Abeer Rizvi, Sharmila Farooqi, Yasmeen Hashmi and cricketer legend Wasim Akram and wife Shaniera Akram. All the collections exhibited, took their respective titles from the villages surrounding the mirror like Lulusar Lake in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The collections are alike in terms of trend setting with their chic cuts and immaculate detailing yet all of them stand brilliantly apart. With the recent collection ‘Baagh’, the brand has played with the concept of vibrant monochromes and patterns using the best of fabrics such as crepes and cottons. The silhouettes and drapes exude a sporty luxe charm which gives the collection a perfect blend of a casual yet sleek look.
Speaking about the new store, the brand Director Fawad Shah said, “Giving our clientele the best when it comes to comfort and style has always been our motto. We believe in consistent quality control and providing the best of fashion in affordable price range. With a successful presence in Lahore, we decided to enter Karachi. So far the collections have been very well received by our Karachi patrons and we are quite overwhelmed by the response.”
