Dinner time is best for socialising, whether it’s with friends, family or office peeps! When the nights get a little colder, it becomes the perfect time to enjoy a scrumptious and juicy roast dinner. This week, You! has collaborated with food expert, Lubna Sharif, who brings a recipe fit for get-togethers – a hearty meal that requires minimum effort! Bon appétit!

Ingredients

Whole chicken........................... 1

Ginger and garlic paste....... 2 tbsp

Paprika............................... 2 tbsp

Rosemary........................ a bunch

Salt and pepper............. to season

Olive oil................................ 1 cup

Method

  • Marinate the chicken with spices and garlic ginger paste.
  • Let it marinate overnight (or at least for 4 hours).
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Put chicken in a roasting pan and place it in the oven for an hour (keep checking in between).
  • Serve hot with a side of boiled/steamed vegetables.
