It is time to rewrite the narrative, for Fatima Jinnah was not just a sister; she was a force, an inspiration, and a pioneer in a story that celebrates the indomitable spirit of women in the quest for Pakistan’s sovereignty.

The highly anticipated ‘Fatima Jinnah Series,’ debuting in 2024, promises a captivating narrative that transcends conventional portrayals of Mohtarma Fatima Jinnah. Directed by Danial K Afzal, the series seeks to reveal the authentic and untold story of a woman who goes beyond her roles as the sister of Quaid e Azam, challenging norms and leaving an indelible mark on history.

Fatima Jinnah is not just a historical figure; she defied conventions and played a pivotal role in Pakistan’s struggle for freedom. The series aims to rewrite the narrative surrounding her, portraying her as a force, an inspiration, and a pioneer who embodied the indomitable spirit of women during the quest for Pakistan’s sovereignty. “In a narrative so far untold, since Pakistan’s beginning, we bring you the true essence of Fatima Jinnah - a Bombay girl who defied expectations and left a lasting impression on our history,” shares director Danial K Afzal.

Rewriting history

Breaking free from traditional women’s roles of her time, Fatima Jinnah’s story unfolds in a political landscape dominated by men, showcasing her resolute voice and remarkable strength. The series promises to uncover the untold chapters of her political and public life, highlighting her as a symbol of empowerment who stood alongside her brother during the struggle for a separate homeland.

The three-season series, split into volumes one and two, with ten episodes each, aims to retell not only Fatima Jinnah’s story but also those of key characters who played vital roles in the political, public, and social life during a transformative era in the region’s geopolitical landscape. The series features a stellar cast, including Sundas Farhan, Amna Ilyas, Kubra Khan, Aamir Qureshi, Sheherzade Noor Peerzada, Mamya Shahjaffer, Saad Qureshi, Samina Ahmed, Manzar Sehbai, Omer Abdullah Khan, Komal Jamil, Shamim Hilaly, Mohammed Ehteshamuddin, Sarmad Khoosat, and Usman Mukhtar.

With an intricate production team led by Danial K Afzal and Executive Producer Moazzam Majeed, the series promises a visually stunning experience, complemented by a creatively conceived soundtrack and the vision of Director of Photography Salman Aslam.
