Savour the smoky bliss of our Grilled Roast Beef Sandwich, a mouth-watering symphony of tender beef, charred perfection, and irresistible flavours…
INGREDIENTS
Mayonnaise ¾ cup
BBQ sauce 3 tbs
Salt 1 tsp or to taste
Garlic powder 1 tsp
Red chilli (crushed) ½ tsp
Beef undercut (julienne) 400g
Worcestershire sauce 4 tbs
Paprika powder 1 tsp
Dried oregano 1 tsp
Onion powder 1 tsp
Red chilli powder ½ tsp or to taste
Black pepper (crushed) ½ tsp
Cooking oil 2-4 tbs
Onion (sliced) 2 large
Sugar ¼ tsp
Butter
Croissants
Cheddar cheese slice
Mozzarella cheese
Lettuce leaves
DIRECTION
- In a bowl, add mayonnaise, BBQ sauce, salt, garlic powder, crushed red chilli, whisk well and transfer to a squeeze bottle.
- In a bowl, add beef, Worcestershire sauce, paprika powder, garlic powder, dried oregano, onion powder, red chilli powder, salt, black pepper crushed, mix well and set aside.
- In a frying pan, add cooking, onion, salt, sugar and mix well.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, mix well and cook on low flame until onions are caramelised (16-18 minutes) and set aside.
- In the same frying pan, add cooking oil, seasoned beef, mix well and cook on medium flame until tender (approx. 8-10 minutes) then cook on high flame until it dries up.
- Grease grill pan with butter and grill croissant, add cheddar cheese slice, mozzarella cheese, cooked beef, prepared spicy bbq burger sauce, caramelised onion and lettuce leaves.
- Add prepared spicy BBQ sauce on top croissant and flip to make a sandwich (makes 3-4).
- Cut in half and serve!
