* Beast (starring Idris Elba, Sharlto Copley, Iyana Halley, Leah Sava Jeffries) – thriller; on a long-planned trip to Africa, a widower (Elba) and his two daughters find themselves being hunted by a massive lion.

* Orphan: First Kill (starring Isabelle Fuhrman, Julia Stiles, Rossif Sutherland) – horror, prequel to the 2009 film; after escaping from an Estonian psychiatric facility, Esther (Fuhrman) travels to America by impersonating the missing daughter of a wealthy family.

* Spin Me Round (starring Alison Brie, Alessandro Nivola, Molly Shannon, Aubrey Plaza) – romantic comedy thriller; a manager (Brie) wins an all-expenses-paid trip to the company’s immersion program in Italy.

* Animated superhero comedy; a warning from a mysterious stranger from the future forces Leo (Schwartz) to rise and lead his brothers – Raph (Miller), Mikey (Smith), and Donnie (Brener) – in a fight to save the world from an alien species.

* A continuation of the Nickelodeon animated television series Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2018 – 2020).

* Was originally set to be released in 2021 but was pushed back to 2022 due to delays in completion.

* Has received positive reviews from critics who opine that it will appeal to fans of the franchise.

* Born on 19th August 1969 in Williamstown, Massachusetts, U.S.

* Parents divorced when he was a baby.

* Was a top-ranked junior tennis player in his youth.

* Appeared in short-lived sitcoms including Sydney (1990) and Home Free (1993) before rising to international fame after being cast as Chandler Bing on Friends (1994 – 2004) which became a massive global hit.

* Has also appeared in movies including Fools Rush In (1997), Almost Heroes (1998), The Whole Nine Yards (2000) and its sequel The Whole Ten Yards (2004), and 17 Again (2009), as well as the series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (2006 – 2007), Go On (2012 – 2013), and The Odd Couple (2015 – 2017).

* Struggled with drug and alcohol addiction in the ‘90s. Has been sober since 2001.

* Was briefly engaged to literary manager Molly Hurwitz before they broke off their relationship in June 2021.

* Has written the memoir Friends, Lovers and the Big Terrible Thing which will be published in November this year.
