Hello Ed,
Congratulation to all the winners of the story competition! I really liked the stories. The best thing was they were short and didn’t have complicated plots and complex characters. Great job, Adil, Maham and Arooha!
I suffered from depression in my teenage so I can actually relate to the story At war with illusion by Arooha Arif.
Unfortunately, many people in our society are fighting their fears alone. Either traumatized by personal insecurities or neglected by loved ones, such people find it extremely difficult to cope up with stress and ultimately fall prey to depression and other psychological disorders.
It is our responsibility that we should take care of the people around us and not leave them alone especially when they are going through hard times in their life.

We’re all too busy, right? Then how do we get time to worry about someone’s inbox filling up with unread emails? Last week, one of the trending news was Priyanka Chopra’s inbox had 250,000 plus unread emails; this was discovered in a photo she shared on twitter.
Everybody was talking about it on social media; people were actually finding out the total number of unread emails in their accounts and sharing screenshots. What a waste of time!
Some of the most popular and credible news websites gave a lot of space to this “awesome” news; even I couldn’t resist the temptation to check it. It seems popularity factor is more important than the value; after all, Priyanka has millions of followers.

Hi Ed,
I have always enjoyed Taylor Swift’s music. In fact, I still listen to You belong with me, Wildest dreams and Shake it off. But her new album Reputation didn’t impress her fans this time. Her album is not easily available on popular streaming websites; and, her songs are heavily influenced by her personal experiences which make them super boring. You can’t continuously talk about romantic complications and past lovers in your songs; even the titles of the songs aren’t pleasing to ears.
I wish I could read Reputation’s review in Us mag; please do publish music reviews.
