Actor, model and new mommy Aaminah Sheikh made her first public appearance at the Bachaana trailer launch on Tuesday after giving birth to a baby girl last year. The dusky damsel stepped out in a hot off the ramp Elan jacket from their latest collection, Sauvage. She paired her tropical print outwear with all black basics, wet-look hair and a bold, vampy lip, debuting a lithe body. Present to support her husband, actor Mohib Mirza who stars alongside Sanam Saeed in the film, Sheikh was all smiles and at home on the red carpet.
Speaking to Instep at the venue about her life post giving birth Sheikh said, “I’ve been working away quietly since the birth of our baby girl and enjoying the triumvirate of roles: professional, mother and wife. It’s all about the multi-faceted woman in this day and age. 2016 for me is about evolution, progress and doing good, fun work. I am delighted to attend the Bachaana trailer launch in support of Mohib and the whole cast and crew - it’s a fun, lighthearted romantic thriller and I’m excited for the official release. I’m equally looking forward to introducing some of my new work to audiences this year. Watch out for a different Aamina Sheikh avatar!”
