Who doesn’t remember Shiamak Davar, the man who choreographed Yash Chopra’s unabashed love saga, Dil Toh Pagal Hai starring Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor? Considered one of India’s top choreographers, Shiamak has teamed up with Canadian Indo-Pak band, Naqsh for a new music video called ‘Musu’. The fifth music video from the band’s debut album, Saptak, it features Naqsh’s lead vocalist Daksh Kubba performing alongside Priya Pranjivan. The all-new music video was shot earlier this year at the Shiamak Summer Funk 2015 bash.
Shiamak Davar’s internationally renowned dance team also participated in the peppy music video as well as provided costumes, sets and props.
Speaking about the music video, Naqsh vocalist said in a statement, “When you write a song, there’s always a story behind it. Portraying that story through a different art form other than singing is something I always look for. This time it was dance, and we were blessed that it was choreographed by the best in the business. Thank you Shiamak.”
The track, which belongs to the pop genre and is slightly cheesy lyrically, can be downloaded from Taazi as well as iTunes.
