RockLite’s latest music video, directed by Zeeshan Parwez and aided by the single ‘Paani’, the band created about water issues, wastage of water and how it ultimately affects climate has not gone unnoticed.

United Nations-Water aka UNWater.org has reached out to Rizwan ul Haq about the effort put in the song. In an email addressed to Rizwan, they noted, “Here at UN-Water, we are very impressed with people who want to change things for the 2.2 billion people that lack access to safely managed drinking water services.”

The email further said, “Perhaps we may encourage you to join and share your music video in relation to the World Water Day celebrated on March 22 each year. We believe your work really may inspire other people and communities to reduce their water consumption.

The World Water Day is a day to make a difference for the members of the global population who suffer from water related issues. It’s a day to prepare for how we manage water in the future. And most of all, it’s an opportunity to take action, encourage engagement and share knowledge on the importance of fresh water resources. In 2019, we are shining a spotlight on ‘Water and Climate Change’ which is highly related to your song.”

Speaking to Instep, Rizwan ul Haq shared that he was humbled and revealed that he “maybe representing Pakistan next year for world water celebration march.”
