Actor and director Yasir Nawaz’s Wrong No. 2 and Wajahat Rauf’s Chhalawa released nationwide on Eid ul Fitr. Both films are romantic comedies and promise to tickle your funny bones.
Wrong No. 2 stars Neelam Muneer and Sami Khan in lead roles along with Jawed Sheikh, Mehmood Aslam, Nayyar Ejaz, and Danish Nawaz, while Chhalawa features Mehwish Hayat, Zara Noor Abbas, Azfar Rehman and Asad Siddiqui in key roles.
According to Entertainment Pakistan, both romantic comedies have maintained good numbers at the local box office. Wrong No 2. collected 16 million on its opening day (June 5), followed by 26 million on Thursday and 25.5 million on Friday. By the end of the weekend the film had collected a total of 106 million rupees.
On the other hand, Chhalawa raked in 15 million rupees on day one, adding 25 million and 24 million rupees on Thursday and Friday, respectively, reaching nearly 108 million rupees by the end of the opening weekend.
Though both productions have generated great numbers at the box office till now, let’s wait and watch how Wrong No. 2 and Chhalawa fare in the coming days.
