There seems to be an addition in the list of cameos associated with the upcoming sequel to Jawani Phir Nahi Ani after every few days.
JPNA 2 originally features Humayun Saeed, Mawra Hocane, Fahad Mustafa, Kubra Khan, Ahmed Ali Butt, Vasay Chaudhry, Sarwat Gilani and Uzma Khan in prominent roles. However, there is an equally long list of cameos said to be appearing in the film, which is directed by Nadeem Baig.
Earlier this year, it was announced that Indian actor Kanwaljit Singh will be seen as Kubra Khan’s father in the film while Andaz Apna Apna actor Shehzad Khan, known for his comic roles, is also a part of the film. Apparently, Mehwish Hayat will also have a short appearance in the film and if that was not enough, recent reports suggest that Fawad Khan has a small but interesting role in JPNA2.
However, in a recent interview, Humayun Saeed informed that nothing has been finalized as yet. He said, “I wish he was doing it! I am still trying to convince him. We want him for a really special character, which is something he’s never attempted before. The audience has never seen him in a character like this before so it will be the real treat and surprise for them.”
We hope the presence of so many big names in a single project doesn’t overshadow their individuality and star power. We’ll have to wait and watch till the film comes out on Eid ul Azha this year.
