Donald Trump may be President-elect but that doesn’t mean Hollywood will rally around his Presidency just yet. Given Trump’s tactics which includes haranguing actors on social media for one reason or another, it seems the glamour world is not willing to show any love. One man who took it upon himself to explain just why Hollywood has such disdain for the President-elect is one Seth MacFarlane, the creator of Family Guy.

Taking to social media recently, he said on the matter: “Wanna know why Hollywood folks hate Trump? We live and work amongst his kind every day out here,” he wrote. “His tactics are those employed by the shiftiest of agents, lawyers, and publicists. We’ve learned to recognize the blustery showmanship of a lying con man because we encounter it every day in our business. We’ve learned to smell it, because it’s bitten so many of us. Most of us love America a hell of a lot, and we don’t want America to be conned the way many of us have ourselves. Trump is of Hollywood. And that’s the problem.”

MacFarlane is also riding high on his musical Jazz flair; his No One Ever Tells You record earned the top spot on the Billboard Jazz chart last year and Clint Eastwood and Morgans Freeman are his fans. A fan of Frank Sinatra, MacFarlane was recently quoted saying: "Bill Maher turned me on to more than one Sinatra song that I wasn't aware of.”
