The 15th edition of the Lux Style Awards, an annual celebration of music, fashion, TV and cinema, is all set to take place in Karachi tonight. So far the buzz the event is generating is extremely positive.
The 15th edition of the Lux Style Awards, an annual celebration of music, fashion, TV and cinema, is all set to take place in Karachi tonight. So far the buzz the event is generating is extremely positive.
The late Amjad Sabri, who performed at the LSAs last year, will be honoured with a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award. A special tribute is also planned which will feature Ali Zafar, Ali Sethi, QB and others.
Given the fact that this is the 15th year, a spectacular show has been planned. Ali Zafar will be hosting the ceremony and has written a song especially for the LSAs. While Ayesha Omar will take on the duty of red carpet host, other stars who are expected on stage include funny men Ahmed Ali Butt, Yasir Hussain and Vasay Chaudhry.
Superstars Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan will also be present during the ceremony with the former scheduled to perform alongside Sheheryar Munawar and Mohsin Abbas. Sohai Ali Abro, now a regular at award shows, will be taking to stage while a special segment on music will feature the soundtracks of Manto and Moor. Between the stars and their trail of stardust, we can expect a grand evening befitting of the country’s biggest awards show!
