ISLAMABAD: Director Health Services CDA has said that a 3-day anti polio campaign under CDA will kick off in Islamabad from February 15.
He made the announcement at a meeting of district polio eradication committee chaired by CDA member of environment, Sanaullah Amman.
He said all necessary arrangements in this regard have been finalized. About 136,000 children in the age group of below five years will be administered polio drops during the campaign which will cover all the sectors and rural areas of federal capital.
He said that Health Services Directorate CDA has set up 427 mobile, 83 permanent and 43 transit teams to make this campaign a success.
He stated that about 50 doctors from different hospitals of Islamabad will be part of CDA polio eradication campaign.
