While Deepika Padukone managed to represent her country on a global scale by landing herself a spot on the cover of Vogue shared with the leading ladies around the world, it looks like she managed to pique the interest of Scarlett Johnsson as well.
In an interview with Film Companion, the 33-year-old Padmaavat star spilled the beans on her experience of working with the Avengers’ actor for the Vogue feature, mentioning how she expressed interest and curiosity in India upon their visit.
“I’m more interested in getting to know someone beyond the obvious and beyond what someone else would have access to. Also, a large part of me does these things organically. I don’t have questions in my head or a plan in my head like, ‘When I meet her, it will be like this…’ It was very honest and organic. She asked me a lot about India. In fact, we didn’t talk much about the film at all,” she stated.
