Tampa artist makes world’s tallest hat
Ozare registered his claim in the Guiness Book of World Records last year and expects that his couture top hat will be endorsed soon, as the current record holding hat stands 9 ft and 9 inch tall – about half the size of Ozare’s top hat
FLORIDA: Tampa artist Odilon Ozare may be the new top-hatter to set world record of the highest hat designed to sit 18 ft and 9 inch tall.
He, who considers himself a ‘milliner’, says it took him seven weeks to prepare the top hat look – with real peacock feathers, ribbon, rhinestones and birds embellished on the hat.
Ozare registered his claim in the Guiness Book of World Records last year and expects that his couture top hat will be endorsed soon, as the current record holding hat stands 9 ft and 9 inch tall – about half the size of Ozare’s top hat.
Meanwhile, Ozare will be awaiting an official word from Guinness.
