Norway has introduced a distinctive electricity saving technique by installing traffic lights that will be seen not on street poles but on the ground.
These efficient energy saving traffic signals will light up the street as soon as a car drives by and will dim down to 20 percent when the car drives away.
The purpose of installing these peculiar traffic signals is to save energy from getting wasted along with providing ease for the drivers and keeping them away from any sort of difficulties.
A street that goes as far as five miles covered completely by trees had LED lights installed on it that automatically reduces or increases the light as per the requirement. This has resulted in 2,100 watts worth of electricity getting saved per hour in just one week.
