DUBAI: British singer Tanya Wells was recently found humming a beautiful rendition of ‘Chaar Chiragh Tere’ in Dubai.
The singer is known for lending her voice to Pakistani sufi music. Tanya has covered Pakistani legends of Mehdi Hassan and Nusrat Fateh ali Khan and given tribute to the legends.
Chaar Chiragh Tere is a sufi song in honour of Sufi saint Shahbaz Qalandar of Sehwan Sharif.
The song has been previously covered by various music maestros of Pakistani and Indian origin.
