This year, as per the association estimates, an increase of 3.3 percent expected from last year’s holiday travel of 48 million.
Not only this, the US transport authority projects 24 million holiday travelers will trek through the nation’s airports, which is a 6 percent increase from last year.
It predicts the Sunday after Thanksgiving to be the busiest day for travelers.
