Boxer Amir Khan's father did not desist from escalating tensions between him and his daughter-in-law, as he called Faryal Makhdoom an 'evil woman' in his latest interview.
According to a report published in Daily Mail, Amir’s father Sajjad Khan said Faryal Makhdoom has "caused such a bitter feud within the family that his son will want to end the marriage sooner or later".
Sajjad Khan lambasted his daughter-in-law after she levelled allegations against the family in a TV interview.
'She is pushing Amir to the limit with her accusations and I feel very sorry for my son,” he was quoted by Daily Mail as saying.
He said Amir’s wife is neither picking up the phone nor calling them to make amends. Khan talked to media after she told a TV channel that the family had mocked her for looking like Micheal Jackson
”All she wants is the limelight," he said while responding to Faryal Makhdoom’s allegations that her husband’s brother and sister mocked her on social media saying she is fake and has done plastic surgery.
“She is trying to come between us, she is trying to break up the very close relationship we have with Amir. She is a very evil woman,” Sajjad Khan was quoted as saying.
The entire family saga surfaced last week when Faryal on her Snapchat made emotional comments in which she alleged that Amir's family (his sister in particular) had bullied and abused her.
She also accused Amir Khan's parents of trying to break the couple up. In a couple of messages, she alleged that Amir Khan's sister Aaliyah, whom she described as 'evil, hating sister in-law' tried to slap her while the boxer was not at home.
She also accused that Amir's family was trying to get him to divorce Faryal when she was pregnant with his child but he stood by her side.
