'The Traitors' renewed for three seasons in major move by Peacock

For Peacock, The Traitors has become such a major hit that the streamer has renewed the reality show for three seasons.

According to Variety, this will take the show through its eighth season.

The renewal comes after The Traitors scooped up seven wins at this year's Emmy Awards, including outstanding reality competition program and outstanding host for a reality or reality competition program for Alan Cumming.

The logline of the series reads, “The full official logline detailing the murder mystery premise set in a Scottish Highlands castle, where faithful players attempt to root out hidden traitors for a shared prize fund or risk the traitors stealing the money."
