County Tyrone: Murder probe launched after man found dead alongside seriously injured child
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead in Northern Ireland
Police have reportedly launched a murder investigation in Dungannon, County Tyrone after a man was found dead alongside a seriously injured child on Saturday morning.
According to the reports, a male has been arrested on murder suspect and attempted murder and remains detained.
Given the gravity of the situation, the child was taken to the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children. The incident took place in Lisnahull, Dungannon; however, police are investigating the area,urging the public to avoid the area while enquiries continue.
Northern Ireland Ambulance Service confirmed they received a 999 call at 11:08 BST on Saturday, after reports of the incident, as reported by the BBC. The Police Service of Northern Ireland is treating the death as murder. Notably, emergency services attended the scene, and the child was taken to a hospital in a serious condition.
Furthermore, officials are investigating the entire situation; moreover, Ireland Ambulance service has sent a helicopter crew, three emergency crew, one advanced care paramedic with two ambulance officers crew to the scene.
