Former Dallas Mavericks guard Brandon Williams has agreed to join the Golden State Warriors on a one-year contract, according to ESPN.
The 26-year-old's deal is reportedly worth $2.6 million and comes after his most productive season with Dallas.
Williams averaged 13.0 points and 3.9 assists while playing 22.2 minutes per game last season. He appeared in 66 games for the Mavericks.
His role in Dallas had steadily expanded over the past three seasons, with Williams receiving increased playing time each year.
Williams now joins a Golden State roster looking to strengthen its backcourt ahead of the new NBA season.
His move ends a three-year spell in Dallas during which he developed into a more regular contributor and established himself as a reliable player.
Golden State has not yet officially announced the signing.
