Drake, Ann Michael Maye open up about navigating challenges after marriage
Drake and Ann Michael Maye tied the knot in June 2025 after years of dating
Drake and Ann Michael Maye recently lifted the lid on how they deal with challenges.
After their partnership with Amica Insurance for the 2026 NFL season, PEOPLE magazine interviewed the New England Patriots quarterback and his wife and asked them to share how they navigate life, especially the setbacks after shifting into their first home as husband and wife.
Ann told the outlet, “Owning a home for the first time in the first year, there are so many things that you have to figure out and that you don’t expect, but it’s also so many memorable moments.”
The 23-year-old American baker and social media content creator added, “The whole campaign —centered around you never know what’s going to come through the door— is just so realistic in the phase of life that we’re in right now.”
“I think that’s what made it feel authentic,” Drake quipped, revealing that he and Ann “are building our life together in Boston.”
“We felt like Amica and the trust we have in them and their brand’s motto... we felt like that was real, and that’s what life’s about, being authentic. We felt like it was right at home,” he explained.
It is pertinent to mention that Drake and Ann Michael Maye, who crossed paths in middle school and began dating each other at the age of 12, tied the knot on June 21, 2025, at Grandfather Golf and Country Club in Linville, North Carolina.
